Online Demonstration

Locked Area consists of four key elements, these are the administration panel, which the web site administrator uses to manage accounts, send mass emails and monitor statistics, the registration form, which web site visitors use to create themselves a member's area account, the user account manager, which registered users use to update their account details and password and finally the member's area directory, which would contain your secure content for which visitors must register to access.

Please see below for demonstrations of all three elements, for a demonstration of the various additional tools included with Locked Area, please register an account using the demonstration registration form and login to the member's area. For screenshots of the Locked Area Pro PayPal integration, please see the table to the right of this text.

Administration Panel

The administration panel is the central point from which Locked Area is controlled. It gives the administrator of the software a system to view users information, remove users, email users, modify the installation configuration and various other functions. Please note, for demonstration purposes the bulk email and config modification facilities can be used but will not send emails or change the config file for security reasons and to prevent disruption to the demonstration.

Registration Form

The registration form is used by your web site visitors to register for a member's area account. It will present the visitor with an input request form, once the user has entered their information it will be parsed through several verification checks and if it is okay, the user is emailed login instructions. Please note, all HTML can be modified very easily using external header and footer HTML files, modifying style variables in the configuration and by manually modifying the html within the scripts which has been neatly laid out to ease modification. Please also note, Locked Area offers various other functions which may not be in use in the demonstration, for example 'Administrator Validation' which requires an administrator approve each registration before access is granted, additionally we are unable to offer a public demonstration of the PayPal integration (see screenshots on right).

User Account Manager

The user account manager is used by your users to manage their account details, for example they can adjust their email address and any custom form field data, they can change their password and depending upon the configuration users may remove their account. When trying to access the user account manager you will be prompted for a username and password so you will need to have registered first using the demonstration registration form (linked above).

Member's Area/Secure Content Area

The member's area is the directory that Locked Area password protects. When trying to access the member's area you will be prompted for a username and password so you will need to have registered first using the demonstration registration form (linked above).
